Maintaining Health and Independence through Active Ageing Classes with AltairaJanuary 9, 2023
Altaira’s Junior Recruiter Joelle began working with Altaira in late 2022, and brought with her over 8 years of experience in tourism management and client relations. She also has a creative flare and loves to take photos and create digital art in her spare time.
Joelle has a lot of respect and admiration for those that provide care to the elderly and loves being able to contribute to providing this quality care and supporting frontline staff to have safe and fair working conditions. Her goal is to continue working to create the ‘dream team’ of Adelaide-based nursing, care and domestic staff, and to build on the foundations in the newly established teams in Darwin and Melbourne. Furthermore, Joelle also has a longer term vision of becoming one of the leading providers of quality care in the Northern Territory, Victoria and South Australia.
What is her biggest accomplishment while at Altaira?
Joelle may have only been a part of Altaira for a short while, however she is proud of the work she has contributed to increasing team numbers in Darwin so far, and is also proud of her achievement of providing a personal and individualised approach to the recruitment process.
What is the most memorable moment of her life so far, and while working at Altaira?
Joelle describes the most memorable moment in her life so far as watching the northern lights from the top of a mountain in Iceland. Specifically working at Altaira, her most memorable moment has included feeling welcomed into the team and feeling greatly accepted and familiar within the dedicated administration and allocations team from the first shared team lunch.
